Beard & Hair Growth Oil
Beard Oil:
From dull, scraggly and dry to shiny, soft, tamed and well hydrated. One of the most essential products that a beardsman can own. This is an awesome blend of carrier and essential oils. From helping ease dandruff and itching whilst aiding with the general texture of how the beard feels, the benefits are far and wide. This blend of oils softens and adds shine to the beard, keeps the skin underneath supple and healthy.
To Use:
- Use dropper to apply three to five drops of beard oil directly to the skin under your beard. Massage it into your entire beard in a downward motion. Do this when your beard is damp, but not drenched.
- Make sure to work it through your entire beard.
- If your beard is long or thick, use a comb to make sure the beard oil gets evenly distributed.
- You may need more beard oil for a long, thick beard.
Hair Growth Oil:
This oil mixture will keep your hair well hydrated from scalp to ends. Well moisturized hair allows for better hair growth and stronger hair follicles thus reducing breakage. Formulated with plant-based oils to condition hair leaving it soft and smooth. Can be used on brows and edges.
To Use:
- Use dropper to apply desired amount of oil directly to scalp as it is easily absorbed when applied to scalp and root of hair.
- Massage thoroughly then comb through or use hands to cover length of hair.
- Use on damp or dry hair as moisturizer or hot oil treatment.
Ingredients:
Castor oil, also known as ricinus communis, is a nutrient-rich vegetable oil that comes from castor beans. Although it originates in tropical east Africa, it is widely used for cosmetic and medicinal purposes in India and the West Indies. Castor oil is usually clear or pale yellow unless it is derived through roasting or boiling, which is known as black castor oil. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a type of fatty acid found to fight inflammation. When applied to the scalp, it’s purported to enhance the health of the hair follicles and, in turn, promote hair growth (as well as protect against hair loss).
Aloe vera oil repairs dead skin cells on scalp. Acts as a great conditioner. Leaves your hair smooth and shiny. Promotes hair growth. Prevents itching on the scalp. Reduces dandruff.
Hemp seed oil could benefit the hair by promoting hair growth, moisturizing the hair, thickening the hair, preventing water loss to protect the hair, reviving damaged hair and adding shine
Jojoba oil can moisturize the scalp and may be a dandruff remedy. Jojoba is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B, E, copper and zinc. Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness.
Vitamin E promotes hair growth, moisturizes your hair and treats split ends, removes dandruff from your scalp, prevents protein loss from hair, fights against hair loss and helps in the regrowth of hair.
Olive oil: one of the most shocking benefits of olive oil is that it can prevent and even cure hair loss. When people lose hair, it is due to a hormone responsible for the shrinkage of the hair follicle shaft. However, the production of that hormone, called DHT (dihydrotestosterone), is hampered when olive oil is applied to the scalp. A healthy scalp equates to healthy hair. The natural conditioning properties of olive oil add moisture to the scalp.
Besides healing a scaly and dry scalp; olive oil makes hair soft and shiny.
Olive oil also has antibacterial properties and antifungal properties that fight off common scalp and hair problems. Head lice and dandruff are two examples of conditions that can be either prevented or hampered by the application of olive oil to the scalp.
Tea tree essential oil has powerful cleansing, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties. When used topically, it can help unplug hair follicles and increase hair growth.
Peppermint essential oil is good for your hair and scalp. It may help with dryness, itching, or other scalp problems. Peppermint essential oil can be described as antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Increasing circulation with a vasodilator like peppermint could potentially improve hair growth and prevent some hair loss.
Frankincense essential oil can provide relief from dandruff if used regularly. Gives healthy shine, makes the hair roots stronger, putting a stop to hair loss and giving way to healthier hair.
Patchouli essential oil is a triple threat against scalp ailments because it is an antiseptic, astringent, and fungicide. All three properties are amazing for mild to severe scalp conditions like dandruff, psoriasis, and eczema. Patchouli not only relives wounds (including in the scalp) rather quickly, but it also prevents wounds from further infections. It soothes inflammations and protects wounds as an antiseptic and is quite effective at inhibiting fungal growth.
